The program aims to empower 50 unemployed youths in Abia State with leatherworks skills (Bagmaking & Shoemaking) that will translate into revenue generation and job creation.

Duration – 6 months (April – September 2024)

Location – Aba, Abia State.

Selection Criteria
● Age: 16 – 30 years
● Gender: Male & Female (Women are encouraged to apply)
● Primary focus on young school leavers including the vulnerable and disadvantaged (rural, women and people living with disabilities).
● Unemployed/underemployed youth interested in pursuing careers in the leatherworks industry.
● Indigene or residents of Abia State.

Only shortlisted participants who meet the above criteria will be invited for the interview stage.
